Portraits - People, Pets, Livestock

Portraiture is challenging and stressful, but the process is fascinating to me, and the end results make my soul happy. I will gladly portray your favorite person, pet or livestock of any type. 

​By commission, mixed media (may include watercolor, gouache, Caran D'Ache color pencils, ink) on archival quality, acid-free heavy paper. Only high-quality reference material is accepted - I cannot magically conjure a good likeness from blurry or distant photos. :)
(If using a photo with little detail, it may be possible to place the subject more distantly in a background setting - I'll work on creating an example to post here.)

A $200 deposit is required to add your commission to the in-progress list. I will undertake to fulfil them as quickly as possible, but under no circumstances can I promise a piece in under a week.
Please do let me know if you have a specific date you require the portrait by, and remember that shipping is its own beast and completely out of my control!

Art Gallery

I create under my maiden name, so you will see "L. Lillefors" on every work. Artworks will occasionally be posted for direct sale on the Gallery page, but I tend to do a lot of commission work, so the walls can be somewhat sparse!

COMMISSIONS:
I love nothing more than to undertake a quest to realize someone's ideas, and present them through my lens and art style. Prices vary significantly by complexity and size of work, so I've simply applied a generic $300 deposit to help cover the consulting period.

Pricing: $500 - $1500 for works up to 18" x 24" in watercolor, gouache, Caran D'Ache, ink or mixed media.

A $300 non-refundable deposit is required to enter the queue. Once the deposit is received, we will reach out to you to discuss the subject matter, scope, refrence material (if any), tone, size and media, all of which will result in a final price, before undertaking the work. Be precise, be clear. This is real art and I cannot move things around or change colors after the fact. :)

Please let me know if we are aiming for a specific date. In no case can I complete any worthy piece in under a week. Keep in mind that shipping times vary tremendously as well, and that is completely out of my control. Thank you for your understanding!
