I create under my maiden name, so you will see "L. Lillefors" on every work.
Commissions are gleefully accepted. Prices vary significantly by complexity and size of work, so I've simply applied a generic $300 deposit to help cover the consulting period.

An image I created as a wedding present for my brother and his wife several decades ago. It's merely a photograph and suffers from a bad angle and glare from the glass, but I love the piece. My son modeled for the goat-boy form, so it is also a portrait of sorts.

Autumn VI 2020

The glory and decay of autumn is a frequent subject in my art. It is my favorite time of year, but it is a time of harvest and death, heralding the deathly advent of winter. I love the colors and redolent scent of leaves slowly turning to mulch.

This is a sketch I created as digital art, which I will recreate with gouache and ink on watercolor paper at some point in the future. I used to create my sketches on traditional media, but digital is SO much easier to set up, there's no clean-up, and I can resolve any issues I have with color and composition by just deleting or drawing over them. It's still 100% my own creative process, no AI or cheaty tools here.

Capricorn 2020

I love goats, and have raised and shown them since I was 18, so they permeate my thoughts. You'll see them featured in a lot of my works, including the Mythos Studio logo itself. 

Capricorn 2020 is a quick digital sketch (ok, several hours worth) that reminded me that a significant portion of my art is reminiscent of neo-traditional and illustrative tattooing styles. Lots of ink, strong outlines, clear forms.

This is the piece that awakened my urge to get back into tattooing, now that the industry has evolved and new, exciting advances in tools and inks have become available.
